Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft SharePoint is a web-based enterprise application for document management and collaboration, utilizing the HTTP and HTTPS protocols. SharePoint is a TCP-based application requiring multiple acknowledgements and secure processing of data, which could slow down server response and degrade responsiveness to users when load increases.
The AX Series is designed for applications such as SharePoint, providing better robustness in failover situations, offloading security processing, and performing intelligent load balancing.
Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM)
The A10 Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Operation Management (SCOM) is a snap-in solution installed on Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 or Windows 2012 Server that monitors and manages the information generated by running A10 ADCs. The A10 Management Pack for SCOM enables a network administrator to have a centralized view of management and provides near real-time performance monitoring for all A10 devices in the network. Microsoft SCOM is a network management system (NMS) that utilizes a single interface to monitor and manage A10’s ADCs at any given time. The SCOM Management Pack tool tracks information such as health status, system state, alerts and performance metrics, and manages the information.
Microsoft Unified Access Gateway
Microsoft Unified Access Gateway (UAG) 2010 is part of the Microsoft Forefront security product line. The UAG is a comprehensive remote access and security software solution that can offer secure unified access to internal corporate applications.

The AX Series is designed for applications such as Terminal Services, providing better robustness in failover situations, offloading security processing, and performing intelligent load sharing.
Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) allows the sharing of identity authentication between two trusted partners beyond the boundary of an Active Directory (AD) forest. This feature is available within Windows servers and provides users with Single Sign-On access to systems and applications across organizational boundaries. ADFS is becoming very popular due to the dramatic shift of enterprise customers towards cloud-based services such as Microsoft Office 365. ADFS enables users of existing AD credentials to access Office 365 or other trusted networks through an AD federation. The benefit to users is that only a single credential is needed to access applications. The single access credential works as long as the trusted relationship between the AD forests remains intact.
The AX Series provides high availability to Microsoft ADFS servers by providing automatic failover and automated error detection via health check monitors. The AX Series is designed to optimize performance and to authenticate server selection for ADFS federations.
